Slovaks have always lived in harmony with nature, following the customs and traditions of their ancestors. Many have been preserved to this day.  Our culture is inherently connected with traditional Slovak cuisine. We invite you to the brewery Starosloviensky pivovar for the traditional Slovak MENU. You will also taste our most typical national dish “bryndzové halušky”. 


The traditional Slovak MENU includes:

  • STARTER – Old Slavonic plate
    (sausage, bacon, smoked meat, oštiepok cheese, string cheese, parenica cheese, duck and bryndza spread, mustard, onion, bread)
  • SOUP
    (cabbage soup with sausage or bean soup with smoked meat, sausage and noodles)
  • MAIN DISH – “Lopár” from Liptov
    (“bryndzové halušky” potato dumplings with bryndza cheese, “strapačky” cabbage dumplings, “bryndzové pirohy” bryndza-filled dumplings)
  • DESSERT – Traditional Slovak dough rolls (šúľance)
    (with ground poppy seed, walnuts or breadcrumbs)
    2 x 0.5 l Pressburg beer (home-made beer) or 2 x non-alcoholic hot/cold drink 

The traditional MENU will offer you a selection of the best things we have in Slovakia. You will taste the best beer in Bratislava and genuine 100% sheep bryndza. Bon appetit!

The programme also includes tasting of alkohol. The minimum drinking age is 18 years.

If there is not a sufficient number of people in a group (at least 2), the trip may be cancelled. In this case, we will send full refund to your account.
